This year's Fleadh was an outstanding success for the boys, not only did they play their socks off for three days, but they were cheered on by twenty four loyal fans who made the trip with them!
From all corners of the kingdom they came, well, Preston, Glossop, Harrogate and Kendal to be precise. Sean warned them to abandon all hope of sleep until they arrived home and thankfully they all obliged..but more importantly, survived to tell the tale.Click here to add your text.
As the merry crew landed on Kinvara quay, the sun was baking the harbour wall and t-shirts and shades were the battle dress for the Fleadh.
First stop was, of course, Mrs Tully's bar. "Twenty six pints of Guiness" (and a shandy for Mike!) came the cry. The seal was set!Click here to add your text.
The official opening was conducted in Murphy's on the quay with the boys asked to perform their Cuckoo Fleadh song from the CD. Soon after the first night nerves were banished in Sexton's and the Fleadh began in earnest.Click The next day, drivers James and Brian escorted the group to the world famous Cliffs of Moher and Brian won the inaugural Cuckoo Open at Doolin pitch and put.

From there it was gladrags for a banquet at the castle, with king Brian and queen Joanne hosting the proceedings. The boys snook in after a fine steak at Keogh's and sang in the banquet hall like latterday minstrels and made haste back to Keogh's for yet another session.
The reception was amazing, so much so that Paul had a tear in his eye such was the volume of the applause and cheering (and Sean and Mike if truth be told!).Click here to add your text.
